Where It Started
John R. MacMillan
John R. MacMillan founded N.E. Service with a unique approach to service solutions that prioritized customer needs over profits. He called it "The New Exodus" because it broke away from systematic thinking. Initially, N.E. Service was a small carpenter business, but John and his brother-in-law, Kit, expanded it to refurbish and sell computers under N.E. Service & Tech Solutions. Later, John ventured into DJ services under N.E. DJ Service, but unfortunately, he passed away due to lung cancer in January 2020. Now, Kit has taken over and continues John's legacy of prioritizing customer satisfaction. Although N.E. Service no longer offers construction or DJ services, we still provide a wide range of affordable services with more to come in the future.
Kit C. Taylor III
Kit's interest in electronics started as a child, when he began fixing his own PlayStation. Over the years, he continued to tinker with various electronics, taking them apart to see how they worked. Eventually, people started asking him to fix their electronics as well. In 2015, Kit was helping his brother-in-law John with various jobs for N.E. Service & Construction when they came up with the idea for N.E. Service & Tech Solutions. Both Kit and John were knowledgeable about electronics and wanted to expand N.E. Service beyond just construction services. Kit started buying broken computers from people, fixing them, and selling them nationwide on eBay. He also began helping people with their computer problems and building a reputation for himself in the area. After John passed away, Kit focused even more on building N.E. Service, turning John's dream into a reality.

Located in Kenova, WV, our team operates with a mission grounded in biblical principles and the teachings of Jesus, ensuring that our services are performed with honesty, transparency, and a genuine desire to help our customers.
