We Encourage Supporting Recovery from Drug Addiction
Over 96,700 people die from drug overdoses each year and are up 30% year over year according to https://drugabusestatistics.org/
Out of those almost 1500 deaths are in West Virginia alone each year.
As we grow, we will be partnering with local rehabilitation centers and support groups to provide resources and assistance to individuals battling drug addiction. Through our initiatives, we aim to offer hope, guidance, and practical support to those seeking recovery.
We Strive To Aid The Homeless Population
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counted around 582,000 Americans experiencing homelessness in 2022 according to https://usafacts.org. Our outreach efforts extend to encouraging help in the homeless population of our city. The more N.E. Service grows we will be looking to collaborate with shelters, organize donation drives for essential items, and volunteer our time to offer direct assistance and support to those experiencing homelessness.
We Support Combating Sex Trafficking
Though it is hard to get a real number it is believed that an estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked each year. According to https://sunriseforchildren.org/human_trafficking/ , there are 2 children sold every minute, 800,000 people trafficked across international borders every year and $32 billion yearly profits generated by the human trafficking industry. This makes sex trafficking the 3rd most lucrative crime in the world next to drug trafficking and counterfeiting.
We are actively involved in raising awareness and supporting initiatives to combat sex trafficking. Though we cant stop sex trafficking we do support local organizations such as EPIC (Exposing Predators of Innocent Children) who actively bust predators online and stop them from harming our children.
