Learn About Jesus
This is why we do what we do. N.E. Service is built on faith — and we want to share the hope we've found in Jesus Christ with everyone we serve.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." — John 3:16

Frequently Asked Questions
› Do I have to clean up my life before coming to God?
No — and this is one of the most important things to understand. You come to Jesus as you are. He changes you from the inside out over time. Grace means you don't earn it.
› What if I've done terrible things?
Jesus said he came for the sick, not the healthy. There is no sin too great for God's forgiveness. Every person who comes to him in genuine repentance is welcomed.
› Are all religions the same?
Jesus made a unique claim: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). Christianity rests on a historical resurrection that either happened or it didn't — this sets it apart from other belief systems.
› What does "accepting Jesus" actually mean?
It means genuinely believing that Jesus is who he said he is, turning away from going your own way (repentance), and committing to follow him. It's a relationship, not a ritual.
› What if I have doubts?
Doubts are normal and honest. Faith doesn't mean having no questions — it means trusting even in uncertainty. Bring your doubts to God directly. He can handle them.
Prayer Resources
Prayer is simply talking to God — no special words required. Here's a simple prayer if you want to begin a relationship with Jesus:
"God, I believe Jesus is your Son and that he died and rose again. I'm sorry for the wrong things I've done. I turn away from living just for myself. I invite Jesus into my life and ask him to be my Lord. Thank you for your forgiveness. Help me to follow you. Amen."
If you just prayed that and meant it — welcome to the family. Tell someone you trust. Get connected to a local church. Start reading the book of John. We'd love to hear from you at neservicewv.com/contact.
