Refund Policy

At N.E. Service, we are committed to your satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or re-service are available for our repair services, refurbished device sales, and other offerings.
Our goal is simple: if we did something wrong, we'll make it right. Please reach out to us directly and we'll work with you to resolve the issue.
1. Repair Services
All repair services include a 30-day labor warranty. If the same issue that was serviced recurs within 30 days of pick-up due to our workmanship, we will re-examine the device and perform the necessary repair at no additional labor charge.
Refunds for labor are handled as follows:
- If a repair was unsuccessful and the device cannot be restored to a functional state, you will not be charged for labor (diagnostic fees may still apply — see below).
- If the same problem recurs within 30 days and we are unable to correct it, we will refund the labor portion of the charge.
- Refunds are not issued for repairs that were completed successfully but later resulted in unrelated issues.
2. Diagnostic Fees
A diagnostic fee may be charged to assess the condition of your device. This fee covers the technician's time and expertise in evaluating the problem.
- Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, as they represent time already spent evaluating your device.
- If you proceed with a repair, the diagnostic fee may be applied toward the total cost of service at our discretion.
3. Parts and Components
Replacement parts installed during a repair carry their own manufacturer or supplier warranty. If a part fails within the warranty period:
- We will replace the defective part at no charge to you.
- Parts removed from your original device that are not reinstalled remain the property of N.E. Service unless you request them at time of service.
- We do not issue cash refunds for the cost of parts unless the repair was entirely unsuccessful.
4. Refurbished Device Sales
Refurbished devices sold by N.E. Service come with a 30-day limited hardware warranty unless otherwise specified at time of purchase.
- Returns: Devices may be returned within 7 days of purchase if they develop a hardware defect not present at time of sale. The device must be in the same condition as sold.
- Exchanges: We will gladly exchange a defective device for a comparable unit within 30 days if available.
- Refunds: Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if a hardware defect is confirmed and no exchange is available. After 7 days, store credit or exchange is offered.
- Devices showing signs of physical damage, liquid damage, or unauthorized modification after purchase are not eligible for return or refund.
- Software issues, user error, viruses acquired after purchase, or changes in personal preference are not covered under the return policy.
5. Custom Builds
Custom PC builds and other custom assembly services are non-refundable once parts have been ordered or work has begun. If there is a defect in our assembly or workmanship, we will correct it at no charge within 30 days.
Parts used in custom builds carry their individual manufacturer warranties. We will assist in warranty claims on your behalf where possible.
6. Web Design and Digital Services
Web design and digital service projects are handled on a project-by-project basis. Refunds for digital services are subject to the following:
- Deposits paid to start a project are non-refundable once work has begun.
- If a project is cancelled before completion, charges will reflect work completed to that point.
- Completed and delivered digital work is non-refundable.
7. How to Request a Refund or Re-Service
To request a refund, exchange, or re-service under warranty, please contact us as soon as possible:
- Reach out via our Contact page or Facebook page.
- Describe the issue and provide your service date or order details.
- Bring the device or item in person so we can assess it.
- Once assessed, we'll work with you on a resolution — repair, exchange, credit, or refund as appropriate.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment. Processing time may vary:
- Cash refunds are issued immediately upon approval.
- Electronic payment refunds may take 3–5 business days depending on your payment provider.
