The Iron Sharpens Iron Membership ("Membership") is a monthly subscription program offered by N.E. Service ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to eligible customers ("Member," "you," or "your"). This Membership provides access to exclusive repair discounts, service credits, and member benefits as described herein. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
The Membership is billed on a monthly basis at the rate of $9.99 per month. Your Membership year begins on the date of your initial enrollment and renews automatically each month. Repair credits (three free minor repairs) reset on each annual anniversary of your enrollment date, not each calendar month. Your monthly payment does not grant additional repair credits — it maintains your active membership status and all associated benefits.
Each active Membership year, you are entitled to three (3) free minor repair credits. Minor repairs include: Virus Removal, Windows Reinstallation, Software Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, Driver Issues, and Battery Replacement Labor. Free minor repair credits apply to labor only. Replacement parts, accessories, software licenses, or other materials required to complete the repair are billed separately at standard pricing. Unused repair credits do not roll over to the next membership year and have no cash value.
Active members receive a 50% discount on labor for qualifying major repairs. Major repairs include but are not limited to: Motherboard Replacement, Screen Replacement, SSD Replacement, Hard Drive Replacement, SSD Upgrades, RAM Upgrades, Keyboard Replacement, and other qualifying internal hardware repairs. The 50% discount applies to labor charges only and does not apply to parts, materials, or any third-party fees. The Company reserves the right to determine whether a specific repair qualifies as a major repair.
Members who mail their device to N.E. Service for a covered repair are entitled to free return shipping once the repair is complete. The Member is solely responsible for the cost and risk of shipping the device to N.E. Service. The Company will cover return shipping via a standard carrier of our choosing. The Company is not responsible for damage or loss that occurs during inbound shipping. Members are encouraged to use appropriate packaging and purchase shipping insurance when sending devices.
Active members will receive priority scheduling for repair services, meaning member repair requests will be scheduled before non-member requests when capacity allows. Priority scheduling does not guarantee same-day service and is subject to the Company's current workload and availability.
To receive member benefits, you must present proof of active membership at the time of service. The Company reserves the right to verify your membership status before applying any discounts or credits. Benefits will not be applied retroactively to completed repairs.
Membership fees are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By enrolling, you authorize N.E. Service to charge your payment method $9.99 per month on a recurring basis. If a payment fails, your membership benefits will be suspended until payment is received. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current in the Stripe portal.
You may cancel your Membership at any time through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting N.E. Service directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. Upon cancellation, all membership benefits, including unused repair credits, are forfeited.
The Membership does not cover: physical damage caused by accidents, drops, or liquid; cosmetic damage; repairs made necessary by unauthorized modifications; damage caused by third-party repairs; consumables; or any repair not listed as a covered service. The Company reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion. Member benefits cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions unless explicitly stated.
N.E. Service reserves the right to modify membership pricing, benefits, or terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes at least 30 days in advance via the email address on file. Continued membership after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Cabell County, West Virginia.
By subscribing to the Iron Sharpens Iron Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Membership Agreement. This Agreement is effective as of the date of your enrollment.
